LIVE IN FAR WEST EDMONTON
Lewis Estates is located on the far western edge of Edmonton. Its boundaries are Stony Plain Road to the north, the Whitemud Freeway to the south, Anthony Henday Drive to the east and 215 Street to the west. Being located next to two main highways means Lewis Estates is very convenient and offers easy access to almost any part of Edmonton.
The area is comprised of mostly newer homes – the oldest being built in the early 90’s – and still has areas under construction. There are large estates, comfortable family homes, starter homes, duplexes, townhomes and condo’s providing a wide variation in housing choices. The average home price in the Lewis Estates is $449,000 and the area attracts a large percentage of families with children. Lewis Estates is also one of the largest west end communities and as a result is further broken down into 5 neighbourhoods within its boundaries: Breckenridge Greens; Potter Greens; Stewart Greens (new subdivision); Suder Greens; Webber Greens.
Green space is plentiful within the community as the Lewis Estates golf course winds its way through the subdivision and many of the homes have the luxury of backing directly onto the golf course. A shopping centre was built in 2006 on the edge of Lewis Estates that includes a large grocery store, a gas station, 3 banks and many other conveniences such as restaurants, a dentist, a chiropractor and even a spa. There are also plans for a recreation facility in the Lewis Estates area to open at an undetermined date.
